RESTING!

Today I am resting. I am preparing for this week, the first week of school. Tomorrow we go to meet Madison's teacher and Tuesday is the first day. Of course this is bittersweet for me- while I am ready to get back into the school routine, I know I will miss being able to sleep in with the kids, to spend quiet afternoons with them, to hear their laughter and the shuffle of their little feet through the house. So, I am resting today to prepare myself - for early mornings, for homework, for the busy-ness that comes with the school year. I pray that this year goes well. I pray for awesome teachers. I pray for the kids protection. I pray for good health. I pray for good friends. I pray for a great school year!
