However, we had a great time with my parents while they were here for Easter. The girls had a blast with them here and we were sad to see them go. The weather was awesome the past few weeks and so we went hiking, worked in the yard, rode bikes, went to the park, and we even snuck in a little shopping! It was a great time!
My brother and his wife as expecting their baby boy in the next few weeks. Poor Kate, she is pretty miserable and looking forward to baby day! She is due May 6, but I have a feeling it will be near the end of this month...we'll see.
On a sad note - my Aunt Deb is not doing well. She was discharged from the hospital today because they cannot do anything more for her. Hospice has been called in and they have brought a hospital bed to her home so she may live out her final days. She has a nearly collapsed lung (and is on oxygen), her kidneys are in bad shape, she's swelling and having muscle spasms. The tumors in her neck have grown and are nearly cutting off her air supply. Please pray for her peace and comfort and for strength for my Uncle Mike and family. Her loss will be devasting to our family.
