Miracles!

Do you believe in miracles? Do you believe that the Lord can show up and intercede? What is a miracle? I was just recommended a book by one of my church friends. It's called "When Heaven Invades Earth" and it talks about how anyone can live and walk in the supernatural power of God. It's great so far and I'll keep you updated as I continue to read...

This book though has really made me think about things. What do you consider miracles? Is it healing from sickness? Is it a positive result that comes out of impossible circumstances? Does luck have anything to do with it? Of course when I think of miracles I first think of my gorgeous daughters - they are miracles! But what about the smaller things that we blame on luck? Like just nearly missing a terrible car wreck...or an unexpected check that comes in right at the last moment, saving you from a bad situation? Is this luck? Coincidence? Or could it be a miracle?

When my grandma was still alive she talked to me about the Virgin Mary appearing to some South American children. In another instance, there was a statutue of the Virgin Mary crying real tears and a statute of Jesus on a cross bleeding real blood. Are these miracles? Tricks? False Visions? Or could it be a miracle?

This whole thing about miracles just makes me praise God for all the blessings he has bestowed upon me. He is powerful enough to do anything. He is capable of healing if it is in His plan. He is capable of saving lost souls. He is capable of anything! Through God, all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26) What great encouragement!

I hope your day is filled with miracles! When something miraculous happens - Praise God!
